What is the best enterprise wiki tool?

  • We are considering Jive and Confluence as an enterprise wiki tool, particularly for capturing internal engineering product development processes and other contnet. Does anyone have any info on these products? Are there any better tools?

The result is very simple: Confluence beats all other wikis hands down.MediaWiki is better for Wikipedia. But that's it. If your are looking for an internal collaboration software for your company, Confluence is the best wiki. Period.

I'm happy with Confluence. I've used MediaWiki (good for free but self-service support can be time-consuming) and SharePoint (a wannabe, not a real wiki).
