I have a small business. My domain and page authority are 10pts above my competitors. But when I search Google for "buy granola", my competitors come up. My page is branded FarmerTim. Could improving it be as simple as adding more content that says "buy granola" on my site?

Answer:
First, I'm not seeing any pages or domains that mention FarmerTim when I search Google for "buy granola." Are we talking about a national search ranking, or a local search ranking? If it's national, than I'd say you've got some bad info. Your site doesn't have a DA score higher than Kellogs.com (top of the 2nd page of search results) or BearNaked.com (top result when I search). You're looking at the wrong info. If it's local, than I'm sorry to say domain authority and page authority are mostly irrelevant. What you need are citations for your business on relevant sites, consistent name, address, and phone number info in all of these citations, locally relevant (and useful) content for people looking to buy granola, reviews, a location central to your target market, and a little bit of luck. Either way, good luck. I think you're just getting started in your journey down the rabbit hole...

Sites with 401-1000 web pages get six times more leads than those with 51-100 pages. (Hub Spot Study). Caveat...your content has to be something people are looking for. 73% of internet users say they're frustrated when content isn't relevant to their current interests. So pumping out content just to make rankings isn't the answer.

Not that simple. You are looking for what's called SEO (search engine optimization), meaning that the search engine (google, yahoo, etc.) will post your company as high on the search results list as u r willing to pay for. Look at google ads for help on how to sign up for their services. But basically this will work as follows: you select the service level (level of exposure desired), google ads will make your ads pop up whenever a (google) user types in any of the related keywords of your selection, the user clicks on the ad and heads to your site. The rest is up to you
