How to set up an auction online for charity?

I'd like to set up a UK charity. What do I need to know?

• I have a cause that I believe in, which is not currently supported by any recognised charity in the UK. My cause would definitely qualify for charity status but I don't know how to translate my interest and belief into the set-up of a charity. The cause is small but pertinent and relevant to a broad audience. I want to establish the charity and them work over the next year on gathering other people to work with me. If I were to consider setting up a very small national charity in the UK, what would I need to consider?
