What are good ways to target advertisements for specific individuals on LinkedIn/Facebook?

I have a list of "high quality prospects" who have similar social profile(work titles, network strength etc) as current users - I have these users Names, facebook/linked url's and work/education history. What would be some ways to target these specific individuals

Facebook Custom Audience targeting has been out of this world. You can take your email list of prospects, upload them to Facebook and target them directly for literally pennies on dollar. Also, you can take it a step further by making clone audience of the list. This is done by Facebook- It basically matches behavioral characteristics of the list and gives you a similar audience. And let me tell you, this has been a killer way to scale business at our firm. Other strategies include retargeting visitors who may abandoned cart for one reason or another(Remember porn is just one click away) and excluding certain audiences so you aren't wasting media dollars. Facebook offers a straighforward way to target a specific set of users, if you have their Facebook UIDs or email ids, phone numbers, Apple's Advertising Identifier (IDFA), https://developer.android.com/google/play-services/id.html etc.. They call it https://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/ads-api/custom-audience-targeting The feature is getting a lot of upgrades off late, obviously due to the immense value it offers to marketers, especially for highly segmented reach and re-targeting. https://www.facebook.com/business/news/custom-audiences https://www.facebook.com/business/news/Custom-Audiences-Is-Now-Available-to-Every-Advertiser One really useful upgrade was, you no longer have to go to Power Editor to create/manage custom audiences. It's there in your ads dashboard under "Audience" I'm still a newbie on linkedin marketing, so let's leave that to the experts.

LinkedIn advertising makes it painfully easy to target individuals by title, seniority, or almost any other business distinction you can imagine. Unfortunately, they don't have the equivalent of Facebook Custom Audience yet, so your advertising would be hitting people who are similar to your existing audience, but you couldn't guarantee it would hit them precisely. At this point, LinkedIn is better for engaging new prospects, and then using retargeting to nurture them to add them to your audience.
