How can you use Google voice on an iPod Touch to make calls?

Assuming you have WiFi connectivity. The Google Voice app doesn't seem to allow outbound calls and doesn't function as a device for incoming calls either.

Try the Talkatone app, which allows calls to be made and received through Google Voice, and also supports gchat. Call quality however seems not as good as dialing through gmail,

Google Voice its not a VOIP program. Search the GV support forum for sipgate and sipsorcery on how to set up VOIP.
