Since it's summer, I'd suggest giving Gokarna a miss. Coorg would be a good choice, Ooty, Kodaikanal & Mysore are the usuals. Apart from that you might want to try Scuba diving and Snorkelling at Netrani. You can always search for the treks organized by Bangalore Mountabeering Club in the weekends if that's something that might interest you. Have a great stay at Bangalore !!!!
