I am an internet marketing expert, and I have been offered a position of Senior Management Level in Hamburg, Germany. What salary should I negotiate for?

Hello Everyone!! I am an Internet Marketing Expert based in Dubai. I have recently been contacted by a Multinational German firm with around 1000 employees and they offered me the position of Senior Online Marketing Manager at their firm. Now i need to negotiate the salary package with them. I currently make around $30k per year in Dubai as of now. The company is based in Hamburg, I will have to move there if everything goes well.

Congratulations. This wins the award of "most vague question" in this website. It was a tough competition. If you are really interested in getting even close to a reasonable answer then please share more info- what industry ( Tech, Food, VC, Pain company), How big the company is ( Sr. Manager at a bigger company is very different from Sr. Manager in a smaller company), How flat the org is ( You can become VP at a financial company much faster than you can become Sr. Manager at Google/ Amazon etc.)..yadda..yadda..yadda.

Check a bit into taxes in Germany. You'll be looking at around 40-45% of your gross, but that will include your health insurance. If you are going for a senior job you should be looking for €50k+. I would say.
