Will I get admission in Graduate school?

I have failed twice in my first year of graduate school in engineering for health issues, but I want to head for an MS in the US. Is it possible that I can get admission there through the GRE?

  • I don't have any backlogs from the 2nd year then can I make it?

  • Answer:

I have known multiple engineering classmates who were all failures and had multiple backlogs (flunked in several subjects different semesters) go on to clear GRE and TOEFL and get admission in US universities. It ain't a big deal !!

Yes you can! However you have to score really great in GRE, I mean you got to aim for 95+ percentile. Also, get some really great engineering projects done. Over all study hard! And get the medical certificates of your illness, you wont need them but its good for documentation.
