Is it good to fill out job applications online?

Would it be a bad idea to pay some bored 15-year-old to fill out a bunch of job applications for me for an hourly rate?

  • I am 24 and I work a part time job. I recently got my MBA. However, most of job applications involve applying over and over again using basically the same personal information. Would it be a horrible idea to hire someone to apply for a list of jobs I gave them (that I found on Indeed). Perhaps a bored teenager who wants extra cash? Would this be good or could it backfire? (I would give them a document with all the answers to the main questions, they would just fill it out).

  • Answer:

Not at all - I work since age 14 and it greatly helped me evolve and become independent at an early age. More importantly - with today's technology advances, you can compete on online jobs with regular workforce adults - so website like http://odesk.com and http://TaskRabbit.com can make you very wealthy for your age ;) Just make sure to keep your education your #1 priority - that component is often underestimated but it's truly still the ticket to a better life.
