Any great restaurant recommendations in Bordeaux France?

What are your recommendations for a perfect evening if you were staying for only one night in Toulon, France?

• At which hotel would you stay, where would you have dinner and what would you like to see? I have to visit a customer at Cuers end of July and will be going by car with a friend I like very much. I have thought of Toulon as a nice place to stay. What could one do in the evening? Is it better to stay in a hotel at the port or at the center? Are there any good restaurant who do not stick to fish?

  While not exactly in Toulon, I would recommend to go to the restaurant l'Oursinado (Pradet). The view is spectacular and the food is great. Toulon is a relatively small city, the Port is in walking distance to the Center. If you have the time, try to drive to the top of the Mount Faron. The view is impressive and the drive fun!
