How did you create and launch a product/company from scratch while learning a technology/language at the same time?

I always wanted to create and launch my own App/ Website/Software. But I get stuck because I don't have relevant programming background. It is very confusing when people says that best way to learn anything is to just do it. How can I do anything if I don't know what to code. Beginner programming books don't teach applicable skills to create something. Please tell your experience about how did you pick up any technology/language and launched a product at the same time. Was it successful?. Kindly also share the link to your App/Website/Startup.

If you are starting a startup you either need a) business ideas/acumen, or b) technology ideas/acumen, or c) experience running a startup d) some combination of the above You cannot start a business in a vacuum. Well, you can.. but you'll have to be very lucky to be successful. If you just want to learn something, join a company or an open source project.
