What causes the numbness and tingling of body parts?
-
If we keep sitting or standing in the same position for a long time we feel a feeling of numbness and tingling in body parts like hands, fingers, legs etc. What's causes it? PS : I'm not seeking any causes or medical advice, just plain biological reasons to what is happening in body at that point of time which leads to such behavior by that part of the body.

Numbness is generally described as a loss of sensation or feeling in certain part of the body. It is mainly caused by the compression of nerve cells in our body. This abnormal condition is most often felt in the hands, feet, fingers, toes, etc. http://edurite.weebly.com/blog/numbness
