How do I switch my career to a software testing career?

I work as a web designer and my skill set is very narrow (PSD/HTML/WordPress). So my salary is not even 2.4Lakh/anum INR, in order to grow from here I need to learn development skills or continue with new company for better pay however, the interviews are not getting clear and too much rejection giving me anxiety. For 3 years, my skill set is still the same and I've not able to switch to java or any other domain despite taking training. Each day makes me so frustrated that I can't even clear interview due to fear and anxiety. Out of frustration, I decided not to go for the development career. Now that I want to switch into software testing, for which I have taken the formal training (manual testing and automation testing) from SQTL institute. I want to know what should be my next plan for job hunting, how should I convince HR for job switch. I'm 30 years old and does switching to software testing will have any issues with my age and previous work background?

My friend, as like other jobs, the Software Testing is. It is not a last chance to pick. Ask these questions yourself: 1. What if I don't do better in Software Testing, too? 2. Why I am not learning and complaining about my nervousness? 3. What if I start learning? 4. How can I practice Testing, when I am scared of other technologies? 5. Why my skill set from the last 3 years is same, what lacking? Don't ever look at how old you are, look at how fresh you are doing things.
