How to read UTF-8 .txt file in Android?

Are mSpy, StealthGenie, Mobile Spy, and most of the other Android spying software providers tempting us with lies? Why?

  • Many spy software providers claim the "Call Recording" feature, but the truth is that it's just a marketing technique to tempt you to purchase their highest package. The results is that all of them are providing the "Record Surroundings" feature which is easy to develop, but since all of them have failed to break the Android security system to record calls, they decided to use the exact same "Record Surroundings" feature and call it "Call recording" too. A friend called me and I recorded the call to test some of the apps, logged into my control panel, downloaded the recorded audio file and played it to hear my voice only! I was literally talking to myself in that audio file!! Bottom line When it comes to protecting your child, most companies fails to record the abuser's voice in a phone call Android's security is still solid even with rooted phones None of the companies above stated the naked truth on their websites Never believe everything you read on features page Be smart before you buy anything online, contact the sales rep. and ask him to explain how your most important features work, also ask him about the refund policy, and the guarantee if their software fails to deliver what's mentioned on their features page.

    This is not entirely true. Most of these spy softwares can record both sides of the conversation. It is just that on some devices they fails to capture both sides of the conversation due to firmware version/hardware limitations placed by the phone manufactures. I have seen http://goo.gl/UFz00v can record both side of the conversation on Samsung phones (S4, S5, S6). However, it can record only one side of the conversation in Nexus 4. I do not know whether your Android device is rooted. If it is rooted, it is possible to patch the Android OS to record both sides of the conversation but still there is a possibility it still might not work.  (when audio is directly routed to ear peace than going through OS)I think it is quit hard for anyone to specify all these variations based on OS versions / firmware version and manufactures

There are few reasons why the leaders of parental control market (such as, for example, http://www.mspy.com/) don't have call recording feature – as the topic starter noticed, in most cases, it doesn't work due to hardware protection of even rooted Android cell phone, the second reason is that the call recording itself is illegal, even for parental control programmes. That's why you shouldn't search for that kind of feature because it's not safe. Actually, Stealthgenie was closed by FBI for the same reason. So keep in mind that dealing with the companies offering those services you put yourself and your data at risk.

First of all, these apps are not used for parental control, they are  delivering their products to everyone regardless their interest. They spy  on spouses and employees, everyone. Hi Everyone, Call recording feature is available in mobile spy software. I don't sure that mSpy, StealthGenie and Mobile Spy is providing or not. Losts of spy apps turned out to be fake. And most of them actually can not record calls. However, spy app like  http://ikeymonitor.com/ can record call logs, chat messages of Facebook/whatsapp/wechat etc.

I see that the other answer did not include the app at http://myspyapp.com.  This app beats out the others in that it is untraceable and the voice recording feature does indeed work.
