There some fan pages on facebook that wont let me unlike it?

Should Facebook add an animation feature to cover pictures of fan pages?

  • Facebook fan pages have almost become a substitute for website. A company without fan page is like a theater without audience. Such is the dominance of Social Media (rather Facebook) in the web space arena. Now there are companies providing eCommerce solutions for the Social Media. I was trying to understand what makes the Fan Pages more interactive than the website which is more easy to access. It did not take much analysis to get a conviction on that. The next thought was the cover pages that are the first to appear in the consumer's line of sight. These days a lot of technology companies (especially payment solution companies) are uploading 2-3 minute animated videos to explain their concept.  I wondered if the Facebook Fan Page's cover photo allowed the video to be uploaded. I understand that the fan page would take a little longer to upload but still. The fan page might be more interactive and lively than before. It will be interesting to see how Facebook Fan Pages compete against the Website business. - Sameer Pimpalkhute

    I think your idea is wonderful. In order to stay in business Facebook always try to do something that makes it look more interesting, be it the timeline, group chat, option of uploading pics in comments or the cover photo itself. Your idea could be the next. If it happens, make sure you get the credit. :)

I was asked to anwer this question, but I don't know if i can help you efficiently with that because I don't use Facebook nor I like it (I use other social media, though). I think it could be a good idea and the longer time could be reduced by using other solutions.  A big company like Facebook has surely programmers capable of that.

Thanks, your response was very encouraging. Lately I feel Facebook is in a great shopping mood to buy users. Apart from excellent security updates (thanks to law suits) Facebook as not innovated much.
