What happens to 3D acceleration with dual video cards and three monitors when you move a 3D application from one monitor to another powered by a low end card?
-
I have a GTX 570 and GTS 520 to power three monitors. Obviously the 570 is the primary and does all the acceleration. Say for example I drag a taxing application or game from one of the 2 monitors powered by the 570 over to the one powered by the 520 - what actually happens internally?
-
Answer:
I think the game/app moves control to the monitor that card. I usually see a blink or slight stutter as the new video card and screen takes over.
