How do I block spam on my email?

How can I block all the email spam from people using Email Marketing software like Hubspot?

  • I get lots of emails from spammers. Many of them are asking me if I want to buy B2B mailing lists of various kinds. I can block the specific email address or domain or keyword in Outlook, but the senders keep changing the details (for example slightly different domains each time). Is there a standard filter in Outlook to get rid of ALL the email marketers using software like Hubspot etc?

    I think the only solution is to filter your e-mails through spam filters like http://spamCop.net (i.e. not http://spamcop.com).

If those marketers are using Hubspot, then you should go straight to the source and report them to Hubspot. Other than that, blocking would only possible if you'd be able to filter out the Hubspot (or likewise) platform as a sending (SMTP) platform, not just the from address or name. A last resort would be to block the Hubspot IP or IP range that is used for sending out email campaigns: but that can only be done on your central Exchange server, not in Outlook.
