What is the best way to convince off-line shops to answer customers' requests from Internet?

  • This is a business challenge from real company: Goods Search Service - http://www.ikuplu.ru I have a list of off-line shops (>1200), who are selling things to customers every day. They are facing customers in their shops and by the phone, but processing requests from Internet is really problematic for them. More details: Shops sell any products, for eg. car spareparts, or animals, or cosmetics, etc. 1. Customer describes the pruduct he wants to buy on the web-site http://www.ikuplu.ru. 2. This request is sent to all shops of the category. 3. Shop should answer to the customer's request. The problem is that shops are not ready to answer to such kind of requests (via email), inspite of the fact that these are requests from their potential customers. Shops want new customers, but not ready to answer to single requests via email! How to solve the problem?

    Could we get a little more information about their type of business? Its clearly retail, but what kind of products are they selling? Is it a restaurant (who serve in person + do phone to-go orders)? More information would be helpful in allowing us to give you a better answer.
