What are the job responsibilities of an executive assistant?

    Oh gosh...the question is more what DON'T we do?  We are an Executive's right arm.  Whatever they want done, we get it done.  That can range from everyday tasks like answering their phone, booking their travel, scheduling their meetings to tasks like interrupting meetings to pull someone out because they're angry at them or keeping a secret about which way the company is going/who is going to be fired/etc. But typically, we coordinate meetings and travel, answer their phones, and work on their projects.  It varies from executive to executive.  At my last company, I booked way more travel than I do currently.  Now I do more scheduling of meetings and project based work.
