What are some signs of recovery from the Parvo virus in puppies?
-
My two month old puppy started showing parvo symptoms two days ago. Luckily I rushed it to the vet ASAP and got some fluids into it. It has watery diarrhea (not too frequent) and white foamy vomiting (four times in 48 hours). The pup isn't overly lethargic so I'm guessing I caught up with the issues in time. Over the last two days I've kept it hydrated using IVs and (some) syringe feeding. The vet also gave him a few injections over the course of these two days. What indicators should I look for to see improvement?

Answer:
1.cessation of bloody diarrhoea 2.cessation of vomition or haematemesis(bloody vomition) 3.improvement in hydration status.perform skin fold test to detect it.
