How To Survive In Infosys?

How is the life of a mechanical/automobile engineer after working in IT companies like TCS and Infosys initially?

I am an Automobile Engineer placed at Infosys with basic knowledge in C language. I am a bit worried as my financial situation is not good I haven't got any job in my field. Am i committing a mistake by joining Infosys after studying Automobile Engineering for 4 years? If anyone with such experience, please share.

You can do anything in IT industry like other CS guys do but it only requires much more hard work than other CS guys. Do training honestly and learn as much as possible as Only Companies like TCS or Infosys can give you opportunity like this so make most of it. Don't worry about financial Condition as it gets better and better if you become skilled in this industry and Also,I have seen guys from non-CS getting top position in companies so think Positive and be ready to face it.
