What can I do with a Marketing and Sales double major?

I am planning to start an exclusive marketing service company for restaurants in Bangalore for which I have an investor (a relative) as well. As an entrepreneur, how can I market my services to prospects and at what pricing will it be attractive to close sales and make the same as an enduring sales

• I have observed in Bangalore, India that many restaurants are closing down within a span of 1 year since it started, many have started losing sales, almost all of them have stopped innovation and focus toward marketing which made me think of this opportunity to offer revival strategies for restaurant businesses. I have a 16 plus years experienced hospitality professional as my partner and I come with a 6 years Marketing experience. Although I have identified this gap and acknowledged by few restaurateurs going forward what measures should I take to make my startup successful ?

Business plan will take slightly more time and effort as you need to think about future and provide for it. Once you are ready you need to choose about right form of business like Sole Proprietorship or Company. Company form is suitable for raising funds and Investor's angle. You need to take help from a good Consultant who understands business in setting and designing you support systems like Finance, HR, Taxation, Legal, IT etc Most important for you will be delivery mechanism of services. As someone has said "Devil lies in detail". Everything looks superb on paper or in mind but real troubles when start working on the ideas. You need to plan that thing carefully. You also need to create an investment agreement with your relative clearly laying down shareholding pattern and Investment details along with exit routes at later dates.
