How to properly build java library?

Is there any software that can spell check Java source code?

  • To be clear, I'm looking for a [free] piece of software that will run over a Java source tree and flag any method names or string constants that contain misspelled words. I'm *not* looking for a Java library that will perform spell checking on text. Also, the software should be able to be run from the command line as part of an automated build.

  • Answer:

    Eclipse.

There's Eclipse or IntelliJ, if you're unfamiliar with one of them or both, i advise you to have a look first at Getting Started with Java section: @http://learnjavaeasy.com/course/learn-java-online-with-java-8-by-examples/ Best regards

Jetbrains IntelliJ does spell checking of Java variables, class names and comments. It even knows about CamelCase.
