We hear often that China has a horrible Human Rights record. What can you not do in the United States that you can do in China?

I do not hold the United States up as perfection in human rights, it's just that I live here. Clearly the United States will not tolerate Edward Snowden levels of criticisms, but I feel fairly safe asking this question. Could you ask it in China?

Can engage in vigilante justice Can look up people in Flesh Search Engine and harass them Can conduct anti-Japanese riot with impunity Criticize all you want about Americans Can gawk at black people Tell someone to their face that they are fat, in a dismissive, judgmental manner. All of these would be unthinkable in US.
