How To Get Demolition Company Free?

How can I get free help from older business people without offering shares of my company?

  • I grew up in welfare.  Watching friends take multi month long travel vacations overseas during my teens, while I slave at Mcdonalds and start unsuccessful websites.  I am mid twenties and have ineffective resources compared to rich peers who live in luxury condos while skiing on weekends working on their new business idea.  They travel during their vacations to Las Vegas, drive Audis, etc.  I have nothing of the sort, I sleep with my landlady, she gives me free rent and food on occasion.  An old retired engineer offered to help out of boredom but ends up more of a frustration arguing old vs new thinking, and requires details for everything.  My prototype is not VC funding ready but I want to find ways to gain 'free' help (not the advice kinds, or words) while I work on my prototype.
