How to unpack a mobile application?

With access to Facebook via mobile growing exponentially, how will Facebook adapt its mobile application to leverage their ad model?

Facebook's primary source of income is ad space and not currently represented on their mobile application or mobile website. What can we expect Facebook to due in order to adapt their mobile offerings to leverage their primary source of income?
