How can I prepare a resume for a business analyst company like Fractal or Mu Sigma?

  • Please mention what should be in my resume if m from a core engineering branch without indepth knowledge of programming.

    Both Fractal and Mu Sigma operate in the Business Analytics vertical. If you search on LinkedIn you will find a few people from core engineering background who are working in the both companies as Business Analyst. As an engineer, deep domain and industry knowledge may not be expected but as you are going to work with SAS and R packages on technical side some knowledge would be expected. Here is what I follow while drafting resume Basic Information - Name, contact details etc Profile overview (Include the salient features about your profile here, Points relevant to the Job profile should be mentioned first) Tools and Technologies (You can include programming language knowledge here plus software like Mat-lab, if possible categorize them for example database tools like Oracle 11g, SQL server) Projects (Relevant projects first) Achievements
