ImageJ: What is the best way to add watermark to image?

  • I use two images the original image and the watermark image. The problem (in watermark image)is that I cannot change the opacity of the text without changing the opacity of the background. Note: the background transparency is 100% if I did not change opacity of the text

    This is what I do to watermark my images: I create a watermark in Adobe illustrator then adjust the opacity to see what I like and export it as a hi-res .png with a transparent background. Personally, I think the best way to watermark a lot of images at once would be to use Adobe Photoshop Lightroom (Click Lightroom in the top left and then edit watermarks, then upload your graphic) If you don't own that, just drag the graphic into Adobe Photoshop and adjust the opacity. You can also set up an action script in Adobe Photoshop so you can automate Photoshop to watermark your photos.

Well, there are lot off paid and free software are available on markets. Some paid software has much of functionality including watermarking on multiple images, but people does not like to paid for a such a task. So here I was used XnConverter Software. it's free and very fast compare to others. You can set this on XnConverter software.
