Why do people love vandalizing goods? Is it because the animal instinct still persists or is it because everyone is frustrated and needs an outlet?

People have this fear of not leaving a legacy, so they immortalize themselves through vandalism, so that someday, someone will know "Daniel was here".

I would say you've already answered your question! I think that the 'animalistic' behaviour you are referring to is actually the primitve way of releasing frustration. So yeah. The vandalistic behaviour is probably a result of the build-up of frustration.
