What are the career prospects of studying metallurgy and material engineering?

What are the career prospects after the completion of professional course in computer science as a degree of BSc which includes software engineering?

• Iam studying in Chandigarh University. I have been offered the course namely Bsc Computer Science. As i went through the Academic calender of all the six simesters i found that the course Emphasize  more on computer subject as follows: 1.software engineering 2.graphic design 3.web designing,etc Will this be enough to get a good job in computer field as a software developer or graphic designing?

  Yes, with BSC degree one can get a software engineer job. But the probability is not as high a engineering graduate. Many companies have set their standard to recruit engineering background resources. To such companies this qualification will disqualify you. So to increase your chances of getting job, you have to do masters in computer application or similar post graduate course. There are several companies that offer earn while learn programs. They hire and train you at the same time you will work. In course of 2,3 years you ill get post graduate degree and work experience. Keep in touch with employees of wipro, infosys. These corporate giants have that program, ask them to refer you when you passout. All the best.
