What are the google labs?

What are ways to work for renowned companies like Microsoft, Google, Cisco, SAP Labs, etc in India?

• I have completed my Engineering in IT in 2009. Having worked for more than 4 years in service based companies in Support projects, I am beginning to wonder what it takes to get a job in top companies like these, which pay well and most importantly, have a good work environment too. The problem with service based companies is that you end up comprising at least on one aspect. I am currently paid well, but i don't like the work culture here, neither do i think its good for growing my career. Please answer honestly.. I know there is no shortage of software engineers in India...

  Mate, work environment is almost same for almost all the companies..I am working with one of the company you mentioned and had same mindset like you before joining it but within shorter period of time I found it looks from outside that these companies have far better working environment butwhen u go in reality no much difference I.e.same kinda politics and little better flaxibility than core  service company..so focus on growing from your role point of view because at end of the day situation will be same for most all IT companies in India..
