What university has the best computer science/ technology program?

How good is the Harvard Extension School's information technology Program?

• Hello, i want to ask a question and an opinion or review that you may know. Im a student from Mexico, and just finishing my Bachelor of Science in Economics in a good private school here in Mexico and I am an intern in Hewlett Packard. When I enter to the university I was between Economics and Computer Science, I choose Economics because for me its a broader degree. But thats not the question here. I want to know what do you thing about Harvard Extension School and particularly in the Graduate Information Technology ALM?? I don't want to apply to a Master because unfortunately I don't have enough achievements yet to be accepted, i think. All this time I was teaching myself how to program, however am not as good is I want that the reason I want to take the ALM. So, what do you think about this "combination"? Do you thing this ALM at HES is good to pursue a career in the tech sector?? ( also big companies, Google, Facebook, Startups, etc) Also, do you think its a good degree to improve my credential to get to a business school for an MBA?? I already check a lot of options, Standford online, Columbia online, Universities here in Mexico and a lot of programs, and the program at HES i think its really complete. I don't take that degree for the name "Harvard", like a lot of people may think. I want to take it because I think its a great opportunity. I already have taken courses online from Harvard at the EDX platform and I already see the complete that the courses online from Harvard are. So, in the end do you think its a good opportunity? I have 23 years old. My goal. Economics-->Harvard Hes---->Graduate School---->Tech Industry Thanks in advance

  I know one person who went to Harvard's extension IT program who is now a senior engineer working directly under the CIO of a fortune 20 company. Another works as a principle at one of the best and hottest commercial effects studios in the world. I gather this is not particularly unusual, in other words they aren't "poster children" for the program but regular graduates I happen to know. I'd say its pretty good.
