Wil is correct about CPM price, but I've seen $40 CPMs on certain creatives that run on YouTube.  Here's a video that walks through the calculation.  It also provides a bit more informative on additional monetization for YouTube partners.

I have a channel which has minimum 10000 views per day with 30 subs and 10 to 15 likes and comment and I am getting only 8 to 9 $. I hope this will clear my first sentence. You got to work hard and create you videos (or get video from Public domain). It would be great if you forget about money and think about building a great channel first.
