How do I get a software developer job?

Could I get a job as a software developer in the US as a foreigner?

• I'm a Software Developer. I'm highly interested on applying for jobs at companies such as Google, Facebook, Twitter, Microsoft etc. The issue I have here is that I live in Europe and most of their positions are in the US. That's not a problem for me; Actually, I'd like to move to the US. The questions is: Do they accept people from outside of the US? What extra conditions must I meet in order to move over to the US? P.S: I'm currently studying Computer Science and Engineering (first year), but I'm highly capable of creating software due to prior experience.

  The good news first, in US, aside from Native Americans, everyone is a foreigner. The other news is that you must have skills which those companies you've mentioned can't find in US. Basically, you need to be able to do something or present a proof that you've done some remarkable work, so that these companies go ahead and spend tens of thousands of dollars to obtain a visa for you. So, if you are asking whether people outside US are considered for positions - then the answer is yes. The extra conditions is that you must be exceptional in your skills. (There are costs involved in getting you to US and a lot of immigration related filings which must be done by competent legal people, so it's a lot of money). Hope you can convince the hiring personnel that you can deliver value above and beyond these expenses.
