How do I make a dunkin donuts coffee coolatta at home?

What is the best way to duplicate Dunkin' Donuts coffee at home?

  • Answer:

As a Dunkin Donuts fanatic, I must admit it is incredibly difficult, if not impossible, to replicate the taste of the coffee you buy directly in their stores. If you are a fan of their flavored coffee options, you will also quickly realize that many of their flavors aren't even available for homebrew (toasted almond, caramel, etc...). If you drink black coffee, you'll find that capturing that flavor is next to impossible. Overloading it with cream and sugar though will get you a little bit closer to how their in-store coffee tastes, but sadly, nothing ever tastes as good as the real deal.

Other answers

The best way I have found to duplicate the taste is this:  1. Get the coffee beans from the dunkin donuts store(not the grocery store). 2. Do a coarse grind on the beans. 3. Get a French press 4. Put the ground coffee in the French press 5. Put some water in a pot get it up to 200 degrees( measure with a thermometer) 6. Pour 200 degree water in French press with coffee and stir 7. Let it steep for 4 minutes, then press it. 8. Pour into cup and add cream and sugar to your liking( I suggest using half & half and sugar) 9. Enjoy the closest thing you can get to buying it from the store(and its damn close)
