Is it necessary to go for the CAT exam? Or will studying for the CMAT exam and getting an admission in a decent B-school suffice?

I have done my Masters in Biotechnology. During the course of my Masters, I realized that I m more into management rather than lab work/research. I am thinking about doing an MBA. Is it necessary to go for CAT exam? Or studying for CMAT exam and getting an admission in a decent B school will suffice?

Answer:
There is not much difference between CAT and CMAT. The portions are almost the same. So it's better to write both exams.
