how to Kill running applications on Android?

Why do running applications on Android work faster after you minimize and restore them?

  • I've been noticing this from a long time in my nexus 4 that whenever an app that I'm using gets slower is minimized and restored, It starts working faster ! What is the technical reason behind this ?

  • Answer:

by restoring your flash memory will become blank and the memory addressing device of controller is also starting from 0x00 line. that's why you feel that it will become faster after restore the app.

As soon as the app is minimized the memory that is being used by the application is released leading to free up in memory, I would suggest you to visit settings and running (Scroll) and you see the number of process running while few apps are releasing memory on the background you would see the RAM decreases :) (Not a better suggestion for a techies)

Because according to life cycle of android app, the app pass to second plane and never drop Then restore phase is only to pass from the second plane to the first plane, and android only can run one app on the first plane. Architecture of android is try to save resources, like as pipeline, memory, data plan, and the available resources of your carrier can not down the priority in order to attend them. The platform was designed with that model. Then looks like is super fast 4 restore; good looking for noticed that. Have a nice weekend !! German Medina Neria
