What courses can a software developer coming back from maternity break take in the field of software testing to find a better job placement in testing?

I am having 2.5 years of experience as a software developer in java from an mnc. I took a maternity break for 2 years. Now am planning to enter into my career as a software tester. May I know what is the scope for someone hiring a person like me? What courses can be done in testing to find a better place?

You have a advantage that you have a development background in your experience and now you do not want to go into core development then automation testing like selenium which uses java, white box testing are relatively jobs in which you can land in easily. If you dont want to deal with programming languages at all then go for manual testing. In both above cases you will need understanding Testing concepts so get a testing diploma course done. Once this is done then decide from above two alternatives (Automation or Manual) and target the jobs accordingly. Best of Luck!
