What are some new forms of racism (direct/indirect)?

  • Unfortunately the term Racism is still existing. From direct racism it has been evolved like a virus to an indirect one and still affecting people. Racists have been developing new and unique (sometimes even creative) ways to racially abuse individuals and mass people. For example recently I came to know of a bar which restricted entries for Blacks as a caution against Ebola virus.   If you have or you know of any new form of racism, please share.

    After hurricane Katrina, some news channels referred to the same behavior by Blacks and Whites with different terms. Blacks were "looting" Whites were "finding"

The new racism: - Black people are in gangs, live in the ghetto and are uneducated. If you aren't in a gang, live in a nice, safe neighborhood and have at least a high school education, you're not black. - Asians can't drive, eat rice with every meal and are good at math. If you are a good driver, hate rice and suck at math, you're not Asian. - White people can't dance, are very articulate and live in the suburbs. If you can dance, aren't articulate and live in the inner-city, you're not white. And so on.

In Europe, hostilities towards Muslims have been an increasing issue during the latest years/decades. Many experts see this as a new kind of racism even if Muslims are not a race.

Other respondents have pointed out much of what I had in mind. Relating scientific and technological advancement to a specific race and tagging them with backwardness seems to be the new trend.
