How to do internship in Google in India?

What is the procedure of applying for an internship in Microsoft (specifically Microsoft, no Google, etc.) in India?

  Let me briefly describe my experience with MS Internship: 2011 as I was a Microsoft Student Partner in Germany I also applied for an internship at Microsoft by mere uploading my resume on the http://career.microsoft.com webpage. The deadline was Dec, 15th. I haven't heard anything from MS until mid February then a HR manager contacted me for a phone screening interview, that took place on 18-20th of Feb 2012. Early in March I got a confirmation that the screening interview went well and I was invited to come to Redmond for the final round of interviews. MS paid for my visa and ticket and I arrived for a group interview sometimes in April 2012. The group interview was run by two groups at Microsoft, Windows Phone and Bing. Since I already had 3 apps in the Windows Phone Store that I proudly indicated in my resume, I was almost sure that I would go for Windows Phone. Nonetheless I landed in the pipeline for Bing and there were 4 interviews in a row, 45 min each with short pause between interviews to come from one office to another. (Since you asked about the procedure I am skipping the part how interview went etc.) After these 4 interviews I was immediately told that I am accepted for an internship. I had about two more weeks to decide on exact dates for my internship, and it took me about a month to get a F-1 visa (in Germany), so my internship started at June, 2nd 2012 and lasted for 12 weeks.
