What are the best jobs in writing?

What are some of the most suitable jobs to pursue the craft of writing?

  • My ultimate dream is to be a path-defining writer. I've passed my engineering from BIT Sindri, Jharkhand(ECE). As I cannot plunge directly into my dreams given the onus on me to stand on my feet first, which are some of the jobs I should look out for so that I can get enough time for writing along with expanding my avenues. Some say going for CAT and then joining a good institute for MBA is a good option. What is your say? Only serious answers please.

CAT scores might help with management education. But why do you want to be in that zone if you aspire to be a "path - defininf" writer ? Point 1 : In which genre do you want to write ? It is technical, fiction or self motivation ? Point 2 : If technical, zoom in further. Do you want to write on semiconductors or telecom spectrum ? Or would you like to write on technical topics of management studies - like Indian economics, strategic management or financial accounting ? Point 3 : Start with serious blogging on that topic. Write one blog per week.
