How can I record a video using my webcam?

I want to record video lectures using Ink2go that will be accessible through my website - would a logitech Pro webcam C910 camera be good enough or should I use a camcorder?

  I would say that the only thing you may lack overall is quality. I've read that the C19 shoots 10-megapixel stills, but it doesn't say whether that translates into the video. If it does, then I say there's little reason to pick up a camcorder. Aside from perhaps being a flip-style camera, a camcorder is going to add time to your output, since recording via webcam is going to save the files directly to your computer. The optics on the C19 are great, it shoots in 1080p and is only $99. Sounds like a deal. I would advise you to pick up a decent microphone to use, though; webcam audio and on-camera microphones on camcorders aren't inherently the best option.
