How can I programmatically find the social websites of musicians?
-
I need a way via JavaScript to do the following: Input: Band name Output: Band website, Wikipedia page, YouTube channel, Twitter URL, Facebook page, http://last.fm page, etc. I can imagine doing searches with the APIs of these services, but there's no way I can think of to guarantee that the results are correct. Is there any service that aggregates this data?

Answer:
Mechanical Turk is likely your best bet. Will cost you $.05-10 per record, but will have high accuracy. Don't know of an automated way or API that would have the correct data.

That's pretty much what Echonest is all about, http://developer.echonest.com/docs/v4/ You might have to ask them to support more sites if those are your requirements.
