Is Cambridge a cheap city to live?

If I live in New York City, then will people want to couchsurf in my apartment more than, say, if I lived in Seattle, Chicago, Cambridge, Pasadena, or most other places?

  • Specifically, if I lived near Columbia University

  • Answer:

Yes. You can make them go away by mentioning your (only notional, I hope) infestation.

New York is one of the most popular destinations in the US, yes, but you can always say no on couchsurfing, or put your status to maybe, or no, if you wish.

Yes! Which is actually an advantage since you can be more picky about the guests you accept. You only host the people you want, when you want and as long as you want, so the more requests the better, as long as you can handle them without wasting too much time.
