Hello, There's plenty of tricks one can pull and I reckon it also depends on who's attention you want to grasp. According to the audience you wish to target, you will not use the same tricks. For middle aged men for example, good looking / sexy women is an all-time winner. I would mention, that your choice of colors for the set, the quickness of your plans as well will have an impact. I do not have the official numbers, but since the time one stays on a channel while surfing is quite short, I would highly recommend quick sequences and frequent changes of angle / focus so you get higher chances of triggering the surfer's attention on something.
