Recently I bought a product from Flipkart, but I got a defective product. Will I get a refund of courier charges for sending the product back?

  • Recently i bought a product(Mobile& cost ₹8535) from flipkart but  got defective product, and flipkart guys arranged me a replacement.                                                                               I have returned old  product(mobile) to flipkart through bluedart courier services but they charged me ₹2059/- for sending it to WS Retails delhi address by saying that you will get refund from flipkart once u submit copy of courier charges. Now i'm concerned that does the delivery costs that much amount? and also will i get refund of courier chrges from flipkart.? UPDATE:Refund received from flipkart.

    BlueDart demanded Rs.2059 and you paid? Even if it include insurance charges, courier charges cannot be so much. Mobile cost is Rs.8535 and you paid almost 25% of it as courier charges. I think Flipkart will not refund you entire amount.

You scan the documents and send it to flipkart customer care. Ensure you mention the product id, date of purchase and other relevant details in the mail. Post this you can call customer care and inform about the same. You will definitely get the refund from the company.

Yes, if you want that courier charges back. follow the procedure: use the same email ID you used to place the order. mail the scan copy of the courier reciept at with order ID mentioned in the subject line. also attach the scan copy of the receipt with it, around 2-4 days they will provide you compensation for the courier charges as flipkart wallet amount which you can use to shop any product on flipkart.com sold by seller WS retail.
