I know some hot ACADEMIC buzzwords in HPC, cloud, grid, and cluster computing, such as: Mobile cloud computing Jungle computing & Jungle cloud Hyper clouds Green & power-aware computing Big Data (It is actually not HPC!) Glocalization Gamification I need more buzzwords to complete my list.

They're not exactly brand new, but http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exascale_computing and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heterogeneous_computing still garner some attention, since we haven't entirely figured them out yet.
