How many hydrocarbons in gasoline?

Why are yellow sac spiders attracted to gasoline and other hydrocarbons?

  • Why do they only infest Mazda vent lines?

  • Answer:

These spiders are neither attracted to gasoline nor do they only infest Mazda vent lines. They'll crawl into any opening into which they can squeeze their bodies and weave small protective webs for themselves and their eggs within the shelters. They've caused a bit of havoc in vent lines of many cars as well as many other places. Amongst the many places where I've been asked to investigate include a telescope, a computer monitor, a garden hose, and an alarm clock.
