Is there a chance of getting accepted in a good US university despite having a bad aggregate in BTech?
-
I am a mechanical engineering student from India. My btech CGPA is 6.2. How much weightage do good US universities give to btech CGPA for admission to masters programs ? If i get a high score in GRE, is there a chance of getting accepted in good universities or should i prepare for GATE and go for an Mtech in India instead?

Answer:
It depends on the school but GPA do reallly matter. If you have a good recommendation it may help your chances.
