How to develop a mobile payment system?

Is there any off-the-shelf EMV (Chip and PIN) Bluetooth card reader that I can get to develop my own payment system on iOS?

  • Companies like iZettle, Payleven or PayInTouch provide end-to-end payment solutions, with a fee on each transaction. I am instead looking for only the card reader device, with a library to interface with it. If that is not available, how would you go to Do It Yourself?
